An exquisite vintage Beni Ouarain, woven in the 1970's to add warmth to a Berber home. The Beni Ouarain are based in a part of the Atlas mountain range that faces extremely harsh winters and their rugs, handwoven by Berber women, would have helped combat the tough winter conditions.
This particular rug is a collectors piece, displaying the characteristic monochrome colours of the Beni Ouarain tribe with a wonderfully deep pile.
