This Marmoucha rug is a real collectors piece. It was woven in Morocco's high atlas region approximately 50 years ago by the women of the Marmoucha tribe. Due to the cold environment of the region, it has a deep pile and has a wonderful colour palette of time-softened reds, white, charcoal and burnt orange.
