A 1970's Beni Ouarain rug hand-woven chiefly in undyed wool and displaying a geometric pattern in carmine red. This is an unusual piece, with most rugs from this region being created in monochrome palettes.
The thick pile is characteristic for carpets woven by the tribes of the highest points of the mid-Atlas.
